This is a food truck located in a cluster of food trucks next to the Kahuku Sugar Mill. I had a loco moco burger. The sandwich is very messy, but tasted very good, and tthe lady working the window was friendly. There's a bathroom in the sugar mill next door if you need it.

Taro Hut popped up in my feed while we were in the North Shore looking for new spots to try. annddd I'm so glad it did! Since we just wanted to try Taro Hut we only ordered one item. #TaroEats: HUT BURGERS: DA BOMB BACON - 5/5 This was one of the best and Unique Burgers I had... Beef Patty, Cheese, Crispy Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato and Pickles Grilled Onions. Whats not to like? A perfectly done burger with an exotic Island flavor profile. Everything just worked so well together. That Toasted Ube bun takes it to different level. I'll most definitely be back to try their other items...

If you decide to try the national Hawaiian burger made from a taro bun, then take the time to travel and come here. This is a million times tastier than a regular American burger. We also tried the Hawaiian spicy pineapple burger. I don’t even know which was tastier, both burgers deserve a Michelin star. The bun itself was incredibly tasty, as if it had just been baked. The meat in the cutlet was juicy and the meat tasted like meat, it was truly local, real meat grown in this jungle. Sooo delicious. Fresh lettuce, tomato, a huge egg with a runny yolk - these are all the things I love so much. All products had taste. We also tried the taro fries. It was freshly prepared, with fresh oil and sprinkled with delicious Hawaiian coarse salt. After this place you will never again say that Hawaiian cuisine is “so-so”. And the pineapple in the Hawaiian burger....mmmm....it's divinely delicious... Thank you guys for this incredibly pleasant experience, taste and pleasure.
